Today we, World Flooring & More, had an interesting repair project. The Client moved a wall, which left missing floor exposed. We were delighted to help him make his floors look like new.
Damaged floor with missing boards
We cut damaged wood out and leveled the sub-floor so that the repaired floor would stand on the same level as the preexistent flooring.

We cut, glued down and nailed down new red oak 2 1/4″. We had to ideally shape the part of the boards that connect to the closet to math the closet floor. After the installation we sanded the floor in the entire room to renew, unify and beautify the entire floor.

The floor looked better than ever and the difference between the new and old hardwood is nonexistent 🙂
